Join the team at our brand-new anime café located in the heart of NW Portland's Chinatown area! We are seeking a dedicated barista who is enthusiastic about creating exceptional drink experiences and delivering great customer service. This unique café combines the vibrant world of anime with a cozy coffee shop atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages to café standards.
Assist with kitchen prep work including assembling food items.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the café, including performing weekly deep cleaning tasks.
Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
Manage multiple orders effectively, ensuring timely preparation and delivery.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a coffee shop or kitchen is essential.
Ability to speak Mandarin Chinese, Vietnamese or Japanese is highly preferred.
Experience with Asian cuisine is a significant plus.
Must be a team player, eager to contribute to a positive and dynamic environment.

Compensation: $16.50 per hour plus tips
