The Helmsman Group is an R&D agency specializing in food & beverage products, helping clients turn their recipes into retail products you find in a grocery store. We are looking for a chef specializing in South Asian food to help create culinary concepts as starting points for our development process and teach our team about techniques and flavors specific to the dishes. We are looking for someone with a solid grounding in South Asian cuisine, including sauces and dishes from across the region, breads, condiments, and desserts.
This is a short-term, part-time position and will be in person at the offices of The Helmsman Group in SE Portland. The majority of the work will take place late September through October, totaling around 20-30 hours. Compensation will be hourly with the rate based on experience.
