Successful applicants will need to meet the following requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or G.E.D and one year of experience with psychiatric clients in mental health setting or BA/BS with one year experience in mental health.
Must be CPR and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment.
Must pass criminal background check.
Must complete and pass TB test
Job Duties:
Responsible for overall operation of 14 bed residential facility (and compliance with all Oregon Administrative Rules.
Must work to maintain therapeutic relationship with clients.
Encourage and teach coping skills.
Maintain a positive attitude in problem solving and coping with the disabilities.
Will model positive, encouraging outlook and offer assistance and support to our clients.
Attends and participates in community meetings and groups.
Interact with clients and document their level of functioning, assist and support completion of ADLs, and measure associated outcomes.
Occasionally be available as a member of our on-call team (with additional compensation).
Supervisor may make some adjustments to job duties based on program needs and strengths of each team member.
