Position Overview
The Billing Specialist I ensures accurate billing, timely claim resolution, and account reconciliation. This role supports Cascadia’s mission through professional, detailed work that keeps our revenue cycle strong.
Key Responsibilities
Review and process claims, denials, and adjustments
Verify insurance eligibility and update account information
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
Apply payments and maintain accurate documentation
Support patient billing questions and payment arrangements
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
1+ year of medical billing or health care accounts experience
Knowledge of EHR and billing systems preferred
Detail-oriented, reliable, and team-focused
Pay & Benefits
Starting Pay: $23.57 – $24.37/hour
