Role Description:

This is a full-time role for a Group Home Resident Manager based in Portland, OR. The Group Home Resident Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the group home, providing support and supervision to residents, managing staff schedules, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Additional responsibilities include coordinating resident activities, managing the home’s budget, and handling any emergencies or issues that arise.

You will be providing assistance with activities of daily living such as:

Daily entertainment activities and some community outings

Assisting with personal hygiene and care

Medication administration and documentation

Meal preparation, cleaning and laundry

Positive behavior supports and basic life skill coaching

Implementing Individual Support Plans

Properly handling a crisis and follow protocol in stressful situations

Administrative paperwork

Job Requirements:

1 year as Resident Manager (or similar) experience

2 years working with adults with disabilities

Have a current valid driver's license

Must be 18+ years of age

Have or be willing to complete the following required training:

-OIS training (This is a 2 day training class that’s a total of 16 hours. We will provide you with info where to obtain this)

-Pass the caregiver basic training test that’s given by Clackamas County. (There are training videos available online that go over the test subjects. This test may be taken multiple times until passing)

-Have CPR/First Aid certification (We can provide you with info where to obtain this)

-Must be able to pass a criminal background check (conducted by Clackamas County)

Pay/Benefit Details:

Starting salary $4,000 (9am-5am Monday through Friday)

Based on experience and performance.

2 Weeks paid vacation

Sick time

401k option available

Flexible schedule
