Care needed on Saturday from 9am-5pm and Sunday 9-5 and 6-10pm (can be a 13 hour shift) for active physically disabled 42 year old male wheelchair user. Help is needed for ADL’s, transferring, toileting, showers, meal prep and light housekeeping. The Caregiver also drives clients wheelchair van to shopping or to see daughter.
The transfer does not require dead weight lifting but does require strength. Client is 6’1” so transferring using a standing transfer spin disc requires care provider to be 5’5” or taller.
The apartment, located at 777 NE 8th St, Gresham is clean and accessible with a roll in shower. The building has a security entrance and an elevator. There is off street parking.
Although client is unable to walk, he is able to stand and use a transfer disc. He can completely direct his care and is very appreciative of the care he receives.
Applicants must have a drivers license, be taller than 5’5”and must be able to pass a background check.
