We are looking for female caregivers to join our team. We have a dayshift and a nightshift position available.
Tuesday and Wednesday nightshift 8pm-6am
Thursday dayshift 8am-6pm
Job requirements include:
Have a great work ethic.
Enjoy engaging with the residents through conversation, companionship and activities.
Be a team player and work well with others.
Be in good physical condition (must be able to lift 50 lbs to help transfer and turn residents in bed when needed).
Possess the personality traits of patience, kindness, respect, reliability, trustworthiness, self-discipline, and integrity.
Ability to follow a Person-Centered care model ensuring a focus on the resident’s capabilities and independence.
Ability to assist people who may be dependent in 4 or more activities of daily living including: toileting, bathing, dressing, hygiene, eating, and behavior management in a safe manner for both you and the resident.
Ability to document facility records.
Have reliable transportation.
Have the ability to read, write and speak English.
Have the ability to communicate effectively with the residents, staff, family and healthcare professionals.
Be able to pass a criminal records background check.
CPR/First Aid Certified within 30 days of hire.
Experience in the field if caregiving is preferred, but we will train the right person for this position.
