Day Shift
Compensation: $23 per hour
Location: Sherwood, Oregon
Needs:
-1 full-time day shift caregiver. These are the shifts I have available:
Monday 8am-3pm
Tuesday 8am-7pm
Wednesday 8am-7pm
Thursday 8am-7pm
This position opens on July 14, 2025. Paid training will be provided.
I am looking for an individual to join my passionate team of people who help me maintain an independent lifestyle. Primarily in my private home, as well as out and about, you will be assisting a young, active, and intelligent man who is overcoming Muscular Dystrophy. My team of caregivers is committed to helping me live my life in the same way you do. If you are reliable, enthusiastic, willing to learn, and committed to making a difference while getting paid a good wage for your efforts, then I want to talk with you about joining my team. I am a full-time power wheelchair user and have very limited use of my arms and legs. I am currently on a ventilator with a breathing tube in my throat (trach). This job is perfect for students in the medical field looking for trach care experience.
Job Requirements:
Has a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Able to perform physical tasks such as minor bending, pulling, and pushing.
Punctually is extremely important.
Patience
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Willing to learn (caregiving and/or trach experience is helpful but not required)
Must be AWAKE and ALERT at all times to monitor my breathing and make sure my ventilator is running properly.
An ideal candidate:
Does not smoke
Is 21 or over
Has basic cooking skills
Is flexible with scheduling.
