We are seeking a kind, patient, and attentive caregiver to provide care for a woman in hospice who is developmentally disabled and unable to describe pain. She is primarily bedridden due to advanced breast cancer and requires consistent observation and support for her comfort and health.
Responsibilities Include:
Monitoring for signs of constipation and other discomfort.
Assisting with daily hygiene and personal care.
Administering or reminding of pain management treatments as directed by hospice care.
Providing companionship and ensuring her emotional well-being.
Communicating with family or hospice professionals about any changes in her condition.
Requirements:
Experience in caregiving, hospice, or working with developmentally disabled individuals.
Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor.
Ability to recognize non-verbal cues of pain or discomfort.
Reliable and professional.
Comfortable assisting with all aspects of personal care.
