Caregiving for the elderly can be a gratifying but challenging career. My adult care home is an environment where a caregiver can feel as though they can make a difference in the lives of the residents they care for
Our home is passionate about providing holistic care in a homelike atmosphere. Our focus is not on completing tasks but on truly getting to know our residents and ensuring that not only are their physical needs met but their emotional and social needs are met as well.
Ideal candidates would be caregivers with at least 1-2 years of experience, have patience, and the ability to communicate effectively and work as a team.
Night caregiver position is part-time: Wed/Thursday/Friday night shifts 8 pm - 6am (possibility for just Thursday Friday night at 20 hrs)
Day CG position is somewhat flexible and can be part-time or on-call for the right applicants. The ability to work on Saturday is required. The day shift starts at 6 am, and some afternoon and evening work is also available
Duties include ADL care, medication administration, cooking and light housekeeping, and engaging in activities with residents
CPR CERTIFICATION/FIRST AIDE required.
PROOF OF COVID VACCINATION is required
Reliable transportation is a must. home is located in the garden home area close to washington square mall
