We are a well established dental practice, seeking a FT or PT dental hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Competitive pay
FRONT DESK
M-TH 8 am - 5 pm with occasional Fridays
This is a FT entry level position
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Greet and welcome patients.
Maintain a neat and orderly front office including reception area.
Ensure patients have updated all necessary paperwork before treatment.
Provide excellent customer service & take initiative
Verifying patient insurance
Entering accurate data and patient information
Manage recall.
Manage on-call patient list to fill no-shows and failed appointments.
Calculating accurately and collecting co-pays for in & out of network plans
Collect payments from patients at the time of treatment.
Knowledge of EOBs/posting payments & billing
Schedule patient appointments.
Ensure that patient records are accurate and complete, and that confidentiality is strictly maintained.
Monitor patient referrals to other practitioners.
Submit information for preauthorization of benefits for proposed treatment.
Ensure correct coding is used to designate the diagnoses and procedures performed.
Maintain an appropriate office environment.
Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to perform detailed work according to established formats and protocols.
Ability to multitask.
Optional Requirements:
Dental experience preferred but not required
Knowledgeable in EagleSoft or similar
Bi-Lingual preferred.
