We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team at. As a vital member of our practice, you will provide high-quality preventive care, educate patients about oral health, and support our doctors in delivering excellent treatment. Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance cleanings, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, debridement, and sealant application
Take and develop digital x-rays
Assess patients’ oral health and educate them on proper home-care techniques
Administer local anesthesia (if licensed)
Provide chairside support to the dentist during procedures as needed
Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation in compliance with HIPAA
Follow strict infection control and aseptic protocols
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and outstanding care
Deliver exceptional customer service and address patient questions and concerns
Skills & Qualifications:
Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Oregon
Proficient in dental office procedures and infection control practices
Strong communication and patient education skills
Experience with pediatric patients a plus
Comfortable with digital technology (digital radiographs, intraoral cameras, Trios 3Shape scanner)
Familiarity with OpenDental preferred, but not required
