POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sterilization Technician is a vital member of the dental team; our Sterile Tech keeps us moving! The Sterile Tech will work with our dentists, hygienists and dental assistants to ensure instruments, patient rooms and shared spaces are clean and sterilized. The Sterile Tech will work both independently and collaboratively, take direction and follow through on ALL assignments. Our goal is to optimize flow and ensure patients are provided highest quality of care!
The Sterile Tech must be able to follow specific company and OSHA procedures when handling hazardous materials. Cleanliness above all is essential. Punctuality, professionalism, a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn is REQUIRED!
This is an entry level position so previous experience is not required, but does help (DAs working on your EFDA?!- I’m talking to you!). The Sterile Tech position is an excellent starting position for anyone interested in dental assisting (on the job training provided for those motivated and interested).
