I'm a 43 year old woman with Cerebral Palsy that greatly benefits from warm water therapy 3 times a week.
I go to the warm water pool at Mittleman Jewish Community Center and swim for the final hour before close, I swim for two to three hours on weekends.
I need help with dressing for the pool at home and dressing to go home at the pool; the person I am seeking must be able to drive my van to the pool and provide 1:1 assistance while in the pool.
If the pool is closed, I may ask for assistance to do household errands during that time.
Weekday shifts (subject to change with pool schedule or if pool is closed):
Wednesday, Thursday nights from 6:00pm (promptly) - 9:30 pm
Weekend Shifts Saturday 2:00pm - 5:00pm
No training necessary will train on site.
No lifting necessary.
Will use hoyer on site and be trained on how to assist.
Full assist dressing.
Ability to swim a must.
Must be able to tolerate chlorinated water.
Valid Drivers License, with clean driving history and ability to drive a compact minivan.
Ability to pass a State Background Check.
