I am seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join my growing team on an independent contractor basis. The ideal fit would give a medium to firm pressure massage and have a passion for injury recovery and chronic pain management. This position offers 6-10 hours of hands-on work per week, with potential for additional hours as we grow.
Environment:
There are 3 massage rooms in a shared space with great natural light. There is a shared front desk with a computer for scheduling, a kitchenette, and storage spaces outside the massage rooms. Our group of experienced LMTs boasts over 30 years of combined experience. We have come together to create a collaborative environment of massage professionals with a goal of providing exceptional healing experiences in the Gresham community. We have a non-competitive crew that is seeking to seamlessly share and care for clients.
Responsibilities:
Perform massage therapy sessions with focus and intention
Specialize in injury recovery and chronic pain management.
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client comfort and satisfaction.
Maintain accurate client records with SOAP style charting (when required - basic noting for non-insurance sessions is sufficient) and follow all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.
Check clients out and collect payment using JaneApp.
Be courteous with spaces - maintain a sanitary and organized environment
Cleaning of the room between clients and at end of shift a must
Coordinate well with other LMTs
Requirements:
Valid Oregon massage therapy license.
Liability insurance coverage
1 year of experience is preferred, but not required
Compensation:
60% of services, add-ons, and no-show/cancellation fees collected.
100% of tips
Pay every two weeks
