I am a wheelchair bound man on a ventilator who needs 24/7 care. All transfers are done by electric lift. Caregivers must have workplace integrity. It’s necessary that my caregivers are multi-taskers, caring, compassionate, very reliable, long-term and have self-initiative. I live in my home in Sherwood and it’s a safe and clean space for you to enjoy.
You will work one:one with me with a flexible schedule of up to 35+ hours a week working Monday overnight plus afternoons Thursday thru Saturday (see hours below). Flexibility to work any fill-in shift is definitely a plus. You will be a member of my small team of caregivers who work exceptionally well together, are harmonious, and cover for each other when necessary.
Open shifts:
Thu-Sat mids from 1pm or 3pm to 8pm
Mon overnights from 8pm to 8am
Plus any fill-in shift
Total of 35+ hours per week

If you’ve had CPR, Healthaid or medical assistant training that is helpful but it’s not necessary. I have a thorough training program in place for all new caregivers. You will receive detailed training and increase your skill level.
I'm hiring for future staff changes anticipated. Shifts are typically scheduled 6-8 weeks in advance.
