Seeking an outstanding individual to join our busy Optometric Practice. The position requires an individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping people.
We are willing to train the right candidate.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Scheduling eye exams
Checking patients in and out
Vision pre-testing
Verifying insurance benefits and eligibility
Billing insurance
Protecting patient confidentiality
Balancing day sheets
Contact lens sales and dispensing
Ordering contact lenses and office supplies
Maintaining a clean, organized office
Applicants should have the following qualifications:
Computer literate (experience with electronic medical records (EMR) helpful)
Adept at multi-tasking and prioritizing responsibilities
Efficient and accurate
Good math skills
Great people, phone, and communication skills
Strong sales skills
Punctual and reliable
Flexible to work a varied schedule that includes Saturday's and some Sunday's
Able to work well independently and as part of a team
Professional in appearance and demeanor
A warm and positive can-do attitude
