About the Role
The Pixie Project, a growing non-profit animal rescue, is looking to add a skilled and organized Part-Time HR Manager. Pay starts at $27/hr, depending on experience. Approximately 15-20 hours per week. (Hours are flexible, but this is not a remote position.)
The ideal candidate will have experience and understanding of human resource duties for a growing nonprofit. We’re looking for someone with great communication and problem-solving skills, who can work well in a busy environment.
Responsibilities will include:
-Employee recruitment, onboarding, and separation
-HR systems development and implementation
-Benefits administration and evaluation
-Performing required audits
-Work closely with Bookkeeper to ensure proper payroll/benefits set-up for employees
Desired skills + experience:
-Strong, clear communicator
-Experience with human resources management
-Ability to work with a diverse, growing team
-Experience with hiring, onboarding, and benefits administration
-Small business or nonprofit experience
Schedule + Pay Rate
This is a part-time position with a starting pay rate of $27/hr, depending on experience
