NW Employment is partnered with a local Label Manufacturer in Gresham, and we are looking to add a Coating Line Operator to join our team!
Pay-$21-$23/hr
Shift- Mon-Thur 5pm-3am
In this role, you will operate and control the equipment, either as the sole operator or part of a 2 operator team depending on which machine you operate.
Both machines are capable of printing, coating and converting and are extremely versatile for producing a variety of tapes, labels and custom adhesive products.
Our equipment is capable of running dual webs or a single web, can print graphics, coat adhesive and perform die-cutting all in one pass. You will be manufacturing liner-less adhesive products, as well as pressure-sensitive laminations and double-sided tapes.
What you will do-
Stage, load and prepare paper rolls at the coater unwind, unload finished rolls at the coater rewind.
Setup and operate Flexographic print stations, Gravure stations, silicone stations, hotmelt stations, rotary diecutting stations, and webbing the machine.
Understand the quality standards, perform quality inspections using automated inspection equipment, and perform standard tests.
Maintain logs and reports, reporting any anomalies that impact the quality of the process, complying with the product specifications.
Prevent waste generation by ensuring procedures are followed.
