Clean Services Northwest is seeking an operator/driver for our trash can cleaning truck! We drive the truck to people's residences on trash pick up day to clean their trash cans on site with our state of the art truck!
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive truck to locations throughout Portland Metro Area
- Operate truck to clean trash cans
- Use pressure washing wand to clean all parts of the trash can that the truck cannot clean
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance as needed
Requirements:
- Valid license with clean driving record
- Willingness to get wet and possibly dirty getting the job done
- Strong enough to handle 8 gpm pressure wash machine (It's got some kick)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve small mechanical issues, when required
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatch and team members
This job pays $20 an hour to start, with a raise after a 90 day probation period. The schedule is between 12PM-5PM Monday through Friday. The hours are dictated by number of stops on route and locations and averages out to 20-30 hours per week. There is some flexibility in the schedule as the goal is to do all stops on route for the day, after the garage truck has emptied them out, so that start and end time are not exact. Pay day is every other Monday. Direct deposit available after 90 day probation. Potential raise of up to $2.50 per hour after probation, based on performance.
