WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
NocTel has an immediate opening for a motivated Underground Utility Foreman. This role is designed to develop your leadership and supervisory abilities while expanding your technical knowledge. We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in underground utility work who is eager to take on increased responsibility.
In this role, you will be instrumental in the success of our projects by assisting in the day-to-day operations of your crew. You will gain valuable experience in planning and coordinating tasks, ensuring safety compliance, and contributing to a positive team environment. This position offers a clear path to a Project Manager role for the right candidate.
A day-in-the life as our Underground Utility Foreman may include:
Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, adjusting as necessary due to weather, supply delivery, and personnel
Maintain a strict project schedule and make changes as necessary to ensure deadlines are met and goals are achieved
Keep up to date project trackers
Lead others by example regarding all company safety policies and project specifications as needed
Maintain the highest level of service and quality on all projects and job sites
Resolve quickly and amicably all conflicts or miscommunications that occur job sites
Encourage and promote a positive work environment for all co-workers
Perform or supervise daily and weekly equipment maintenance tasks, including, but not limited to, fuel, lubricants, fluids, and cleaning
Qualified candidates will possess:
Strong technical knowledge of underground utility construction and experience in underground work
Knowledge of standard construction equipment and materials
Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Extensive knowledge of construction best practices, equipment maintenance/use, and OSHA guidelines
Ability to read, or learn to read, drawings, plans, and blueprints
Able to pass drug screen and pre-employment background check

Hourly position $28-$35/hr + overtime
