We are seeking a skilled and dependable Medical Transport Driver to join our team. The Medical Transport Driver will be responsible for transporting patients to and from medical facilities, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.
Responsibilities:
Transport patients to and from medical facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and doctor's offices.
Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the journey, including assisting with mobility and positioning, and providing emotional support as needed.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, and follow the most efficient routes to reach the destination.
Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, and perform routine checks to ensure it is in good working condition.
Document all pick-up and drop-off times, as well as any special instructions from medical personnel.
Communicate effectively with patients, medical personnel, and other team members to ensure seamless transport services.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Minimum of three years of experience in transportation, preferably in a medical transport setting.
Familiarity with the local area and surrounding regions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and caring demeanor.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to lift and move patients, as well as medical equipment, as needed.
Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR is preferred.
