Position:
We are seeking an experienced fireplace installer. If you have experience in adjacent fields such as HVAC we want to hear from you too. If you don't have direct fireplace or HVAC experience, but do have a construction background and such as carpentry, you are looking for a long term career, and are committed to learning the trade quickly, please apply. The role offers a competitive wage ranging from $25-$45 per hour, based on experience. There is strong potential for growth and leadership opportunities within the company. We are looking for someone who is looking for stability and a long term position.
Responsibilities:
- Complete all aspects of fireplace installation for various types of fireplaces including gas, electric, and wood-burning units. This includes running gas line in residential and commercial spaces as well as working from rooftops, in crawl spaces and attics as needed.
-Running lead on installations and being able to instruct and delegate tasks to helper.
-Effectively read and comprehend blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations.
-Collaborate with construction teams on remodeling projects as well as sub-contractors.
-Problem-solving and troubleshooting, being solution oriented. You will need to familiarizing yourself with local fireplace codes as every job will need to pass a county inspection.
-Professional and friendly demeanor with customers and can communication kindly and effectively.
-Daily reporting on job completion and progress with management team.
-Lifting 50lbs regularly, up to 100lbs with assistance.
-Working well with team members and good communication.
Requirements:
-Experience with gas lines and gas fireplaces preferred.
-Construction background, especially HVAC or carpentry.
-Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
-Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
