We are an all-year-round greenhouse hemp farm in the Sherwood/Wilsonville area looking for an experienced grower/laborer to work part-time in our greenhouses. A minimum of one year experience is preferred. Duties will include, but are not limited to; transplanting, pest control, plant pruning and maintenance, harvesting, cleaning grow rooms and facilities, waste disposal and property maintenance. This position will be up to 5 days per week and may involve weekend shifts. The ideal candidate for this position will be punctual, can take direction well, perform physical labor, lift 50 pounds, perform repetitive tasks, work quickly and efficiently.
Daily Duties
- Tasks related to our greenhouse – transplanting, cloning, plant pruning and maintenance, and pest control
- Must demonstrate willingness and ability to maintain plant health
- Work as a team to execute harvests, including cutting, hanging, and weighing plants for drying
- Cleaning and sanitizing of pots, tools, irrigation lines, and greenhouse area
- Disposing of waste material by compost bins to maintain a clean greenhouse area
- Assist with maintaining proper greenhouse climate, such as humidity control, pest management, and irrigation.
- May be expected to help with general landscaping and property maintenance on occasion
- Competently follow directions from supervisor
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks to support overall company needs
