Topline Delivery Inc. is a white-glove delivery company specializing in the delivery and installation of high-end and hardwood furniture.
The pieces we deliver are designed by top-tier artisans and retailers who entrust us to carefully transport merchandise to its final placement all over the country, mostly in the NW with occasional national trips. Established in 1993, we’ve regarded both our retail accounts and our employees like family for the last three decades, enjoying a down-to-earth and friendly professional environment with many repeat customers.
White-Glove: a term and industry standard indicating the professional delivery, unpackaging, and installation of an item to its final placement, ready for customer use.
ABOUT THE JOB:
WE ARE GROWING!
We have openings for 2 full-time positions (a team of two): Driver and Helper with strong work ethics and a desire to grow within the ever booming delivery industry.
HIGHLIGHTS:
STARTING PAY:
tips are common and sometimes quite generous
Driver $22.00 - $23.00 /hr (depending on experience)
Helper $20.00 - $21.00 /hr (depending on experience)
HOURS: Avg 40/week. Typical delivery days are Tuesday-Sunday. Work weeks are typically four 10-hour days, sometimes split (example: work Tuesday and Wednesday, off Thursday, work Friday and Saturday, off Sunday and Monday it can vary, flexibility required). Schedule averages to be full-time, with potential overtime. Weekends required. Most trucks run in Oregon and Washington, with a team doing overnight distance deliveries 1-3x/month.

A TYPICAL DAY ON THE JOB:
-Arrive to loading dock at 6:45am (N Portland, Swan Island area)
-Greet delivery partner (teams of 2), check route, inspect truck
-Begin loading at 7am
-Delivery route approx. 8-10hrs
-Return to dock, clean out truck, clock out
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:
Furniture/appliance delivery experience required
DRIVER:
- Have valid Oregon driver’s license, clean driving record- no more than two points for the last 5 years
- Must have at least 1 year experience driving 26ft box truck (very comfortable backing up, parking, navigating narrow or challenging streets and lots, etc.)
-26 years or older for insurance purposes
-Current ODOT Medical Certificate (must have before first day of work)
- Must have experience delivering furniture - we deliver high-end pieces and need a leader with experience in this role.
BOTH DRIVER AND HELPER:
-Strong attention to detail
-Works efficiently AND carefully
-Attendance habits are punctual and reliable
-Team-player with leadership skills (future advancement possible for the right candidates)
-Clean-cut, great hygiene, and overall presentable to affluent households
-Communication is friendly, respectful, clear and professional
-Excellent customer service skills
-Physically healthy, able to lift over 100lbs, enjoys an active workday (this is heavy work and long days, only the very strong and should apply)
-Available for occasional out of town runs
-Has reliable transportation to and from work

While you get many breaks resting in the truck between stops, applicants need to be physically fit, energetic, and healthy with natural stamina to be successful in this job (please be considerate of not applying if you have long-standing back issues, injuries etc we deliver and install furniture, not parcels and boxes):
