Wanted: General laborer. We do everything related to landscape and property management. Some of the basics include pruning, with power equipment and by hand, installing sod, complete landscaping of an old or new yard, mowing, edging, weeding, tree removal, and heavy leaf clean up in the fall. If not experienced in landscaping possess a willingness and desire to learn the skills to become a knowledgeable and productive landscaper. We provide all phases of yard / property maintenance and enhancement.
90% of work is done in NW Portland (King's Heights) within one square mile. I have been in business for 19 years and every client is a referral. The majority of the properties we take care of are worth well over a $1,000,000. Client base is large, stable, and continues to grow. I do no advertising and am not listed in the phone book nor do I have a website. Payroll is electronic and checks are automatically deposited in your bank account every other Wednesday. You will be covered by worker's comp and $2,000,000 of liability insurance. Job is full time and standard hours are 8:00-4:30. Last year, we worked full time starting January 16th and missed no work days due to inclement weather. This year we started back in early January and won't miss a day of work until December 21st. Business is closed from Dec. 22nd. until around Jan. 15th. From now until late December work will be full time. We normally work 8 hours a day and don't work on week-ends. We always have a back log of work. We do not work when there is snow, ice, extreme cold or extremely heavy rain. We do not work on National Holidays and shut down for 5 days over Thanksgiving.
Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Non-smoker. Must have a sense of humor and enjoy providing quality service and a high end finished product. Only apply if you enjoy working at a fast pace and prefer to have the responsibility of completing a variety of tasks on a daily basis. Must be able to be productive with minimal supervision.
