Landscaping Maintainence Lead

Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: mowing, edging, blowing, trimming, pruning, planting, weed removal, watering, fertilizing, digging, and raking.

Requirements:

Superb customer service skills including active listening

Awareness of the proper care, use, and maintenance of tools of the trade

Compliance with company policies and procedures

Observance and adherence to safety guidelines

Punctuality and reliability

Working well in a team environment

Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Remaining curious and asking questions when needed

Must have at least 2 years of Landscape maintenance experience and know how to operate all equipment listed in job description.

Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record and be able to drive a company vehicle.

A background check is required.

Job Description:

Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and saws.

Operate powered equipment, such as mowers, edgers, blowers, trimmers, and chain-saws.

Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or trimmers.

Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or

automatic sprayers or spreaders.

Care for established lawns by thatching, aerating, weeding, edging.

Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage.

Use irrigation methods to adjust the amount of water consumption and to prevent waste.

Maintain irrigation systems, including winterizing the systems and starting them up in spring.

Install and spread bark dust or mulch using gardening tools and wheelbarrows

Hours:

Hours may vary depending on the job and season, but generally Monday-Friday, 7-4.

Compensation:

Landscape Maintenance Lead wages $25.00 - $30.00/hour DOE

90 and 180-day bonuses

Performance-based bonuses
