We are seeking a part-time Maintenance/Landscaper with Customer Service Skills to enhance our team. Must have both (lite) Maintenance and landscaping skill with great customer service skills to join our team in the operations for our Money Saver Storage Gresham self-storage property located in the Portland area.
Enjoy What You Do Every Day -
Facility/property duties include cleaning hallways, doors, and vacated spaces as needed, minor building repairs along with some electrical (changing out lighting fixtures)
(approximately 80% of time) Outside duties may include using electric mower, weed-Wacker, hedge trimmer, leaf blower as needed or seasonally; we will train for pothole repairs, some painting and building maintenance. Be prepared to deal with inclement weather working inside the office and outside on the property.
Customer service and sales are a top priority; You will maintain store appearance, product presentation and storage area cleanliness and provide outstanding customer service.
(approximately 20% of time) Administrative tasks include establishing tenant relations through leasing, customer billings and accounts, preparing reports, maintaining tenant compliance with property policy.
Accounting duties including tenant rent collections, late notices, daily accounting reconciliation and cash management.
Bring Your Talents -
2+ years of experience in retail sales, self-storage, apartment/property management, sales, or customer service.
Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
Be flexible to work minimum 3 days (28 hours/week and up to 32 hours), some weekends, must be willing to work occasional additional day(s) for manager if needed.
Compensation and Rewards -$18.00 - $20.00 per hour, and Bonus potential!
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
