Assistant Machine Operator

Position Summary
The Assistant Machine Operator works in a team environment, supporting a variety of work centers and production lines. You will be trained on a specific Machine to start. Opportunities exist to become not only a full Operator, but also to be trained on multiple work centers.
This is a direct hire opportunity. Our client offer a full benefit plan to include Healthcare and 401k matching contributions and paid vacation. Multiple opportunities for promotion exist.
Essential Duties
Perform efficient set up and run of assigned machine
Perform quality checks for first article and in process QC.
Maintain proper documentation and computer entries.
Maintain a clean and organized work center.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years’ Experience In Machine Operation with complex machine operation
Experience in one of or all of the following types of machines is highly desired:
o Folder-Gluer
o Platen Diecutter
o Flexo Folder-Gluer
o Rotary Diecutter
Must be disciplined, flexible results-oriented and decisive with a “can do” attitude
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with changing demands.
Must have basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
High School Diploma or GED
Pay: Up to $25/hr. to start
