We are looking for a reliable delivery driver who cares about customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The delivery driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned stops and time schedules. You will be working as part of the project management team in order to ensure that the items are correct, stacked and strapped correctly, and safely delivered to the correct locations.
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
Loading, transporting, and delivering items to our project sites, our vendors, and occasionally our office in a safe, timely manner.
Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the materials are correct, and the crew/site have everything they need.
Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
Adhering to the most efficient routes and following time schedules.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Inspect, operate and maintain the vehicle and its cleanliness.
Delivery Driver Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license issued by the state where you intend to work.
Clean driving record.
Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
Strong time management and customer service skills.
Ability to walk, drive, lift up to 60 pounds for extended periods.
