AP/AR Specialist

Pay $24-29 DOE

Mon-Fri 8am -5pm

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Controller, this position with assist with AP, AR, and other accounting projects as needed. This position will also assist with administrative functions as needed.

Review vendor invoices and statements to ensure that all information is accurate and complete

Review, match and verify amounts, postings, and documents to ensure accuracy and proper G/L coding

Communication with vendors regarding any discrepancies

Prepare and process check runs and ACH payments

Set-up and maintain vendor files

Process manual check requests

Processing and recording customer payments via check or ACH

Prepare desktop deposits for bank

Collection follow-up with customers

Processing of customer credits

Other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

The Buyer under minimal supervision, sources raw materials and or packaging for current and potential new requirements as needed. Performs all duties related to purchase order entry and post-entry supply chain tracking.

Responsible for the sourcing of new and or current raw materials as needed to support customer requirements. This would include requesting samples, documents, etc. and getting those to the appropriate departments for approval.

Responsible for the accurate entry, proofing, maintenance and submission of purchase orders based on customer demand, stock replenishment and management direction.

Responsible to know or quickly learn enough about all the products and services with which he or she will transact business and to buy those products or services with the most favorable terms and conditions.

Maintain superior level of accuracy while creating and verifying purchase order information including proper product costing, shipping instructions, etc.

Accurately maintain all item Planning Data for Purchased items.

Routine purchase order review and follow-up, and expediting of orders.

Negotiate fairly with suppliers while getting the best deal possible for HWP.

Use appropriate communication methods to ensure timely information sharing.

Manage Supplier performance and create action plans to address those that under perform.

Provide information regarding availability of material and expedite where necessary.

Maintain supplier price lists.

Review and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies.

Communicate professionally and courteously directly with suppliers in relation to order processing as required to resolve issues and receive order acknowledgements

Maintenance Technician

Pay: $35-40 DOE ($2 shift differential)

Shift: Sun-Thurs 9pm-5:30am

All maintenance performs set up/assist/operation, maintenance (preventative, and predictive), and repair work on various equipment associated with encapsulation processing and packaging.

Apprentice Level focus: Equipment set up/assist/operations

Additional duties for Tech I: Troubleshoot and maintain Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Mechanical Linkage systems.

Additional duties for Tech II: Troubleshoot and maintain Electrical systems. Train technician I and apprentice level coworkers.

Prioritize the production line staying up and running. Promptly communicate to production supervisors, maintenance manager, and co-workers on work status, the need for assistance, parts needed, follow-through and pass down information for another technician to take over.

Microbiologist

JOB SUMMARY

Sample preparation and performance of routine laboratory testing with the aid of laboratory equipments, follows standard operating procedures and policies, adheres to good documentation practices and quality control activities.

Data entry and maintenance of sample logs and notebooks.

Sample preparation including weighing, ph adjustment and serial dilutions.

Equipment maintenance, calibration, temperature monitoring and quality control.

Analyze samples according to standard operating policies and procedures.

Production Scheduler

Pay: 55k annually

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules for blending, encapsulation and packaging. Maintain and improve scheduling, reporting and process. This is a manufacture-to-order environment: excellent skill is required in analyzing existing and projected orders, machine capacities, supplier capabilities, material nuances and project specific requirements to produce achievable and acceptable schedules for optimal manufacturing quality & efficiency. This position acts as a close advisor, especially to the Production Manager

Maintain schedules: Attend scheduled production meetings to accumulate status information for orders in process. Retrieve status information from various other sources – MRP system queries (develop and improve), e-mail to coworkers, etc. Adjust and communicate schedules to reflect status. Accurately portray the impact of late activities, without disrupting the schedule.

Assist Operations Management in analyzing and responding to schedule impacts caused by various unpredictable events (i.e. machine outages, supplier delays, changes).

Run and communicate schedule which convey schedule information. Refine reports/develop as needed

Commit and print batch tickets

Assist in the troubleshooting of production problems; identifying finished good that perform on the machines with difficulty or with defects. Evaluate opportunities for ingredient characteristic change.

Coordinate production planning with Director of Operations, paying attention to labor demands for the variability i the finished goods produced, along with meeting requirements of a cGMP production environment.

Work with other departments (Cost Analyst, Quality, Purchasing, Project Management, etc.) to determine their information needs with respect to the production schedule.

Develop reports to meet needs and train coworkers to use them.

Continuously improve the scheduling, reporting and updating processes.

Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide efforts to improve which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort.

Sanitation Washroom Operator

Dismantle/breakdown machines, clean all parts via CPS, Hobart washer or by hand. Clean washing machines, floors, and walls of washroom. Place parts in designated locations or on carts. Wash and dry machine parts, barrels, plastic/metal pallets and IBC’s, organizing extra parts. Assist Facilities Sanitation with building cleaning, and production room cleaning as needed. May be assigned duties as a packaging line operator on an as need basis. Specific tasks are clearly defined by work instructions and SOP for each operation in the job rotation. JOB SUMMARY

Support, coordinate, and enforce oversight of the quality systems and processes within a cGMP compliant dietary supplement manufacturing environment. Serve as technical resource and team leader within the production-facing quality group. Reviews and assigns job duties for members within the production-facing quality group to meet the demands of quality and production. Effectively communicates with all levels of management, customer service, production staff, suppliers, and customers for any quality related events within the organization. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS It is essential for all employees to adhere to Company policies

Support the NCM product program, including the status, release, and destruction of “Rejected” products.

Supports the Quality group in Deviation Management.

Assist in investigating and correcting quality-related issues (including customer complaints) through collaboration with other departments and aid in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

Initiate Control Document revisions as needed to assure compliance continuous improvement.

Supervises at least 2 direct employees

May act as a back-up to the Quality Analyst I or Quality Technician.
