We are hiring for an outdoor groundskeeper and light maintenance position. This position is 2-days/week to assist the onsite manager with the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of the exterior facility grounds and buildings. Outside duties include but not limited to keeping drive aisles clean and free of trash, debris and moss, cleaning vacated units, scrubbing unit doors, weed control on the interior of the facility fenced area, pest control, routine safety checks, operating various tools and other misc. items to keep the exterior of the property clean and professional looking. Other duties include but not limited to: assisting customers while on the grounds as needed, showing spaces to new customers, as well as completing items as needed by the onsite manager.
Monday is a required workday; the second day can be flexible and worked out with the onsite manager. Work hours are 8:30am – 5:30pm.
We're looking for someone that enjoys being outside, even when it's hot, cold, sunny or raining. We want someone that can communicate well with the onsite manager.
Must be a high school graduate or have a GED and be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Have valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a hiring background screening which includes criminal, DMV, medical and drug testing (including thc). The facility is drug and smoke free.
