Status: Hourly 40+OT weekly!
Hourly Rate: $20.00 starting w/ no experience (Experienced Rebar Fabricators pay DOE)
Additional Potential up to 20% Weekly bonus, plus Annual Profit Share.
Salary Range with Bonus: $41,600 - $54,080

Applying is the first step towards joining the team of specialized rebar fabricators in our Portland shop. Work on the Pacific Northwest's largest construction and infrastructure projects; Bend, cut, bundle and load reinforcing steel bars in accordance with customer’s orders.
Operate shearing machine or power saw to cut reinforcing steel bars to length.
Operate bending machine to bend reinforcing steel bars to specified shape.
Operate overhead crane to move, assemble and select material to be fabricated or shipped.
Operate spray gun in the application of epoxy touch up of reinforcing steel bars.
Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping.
Unload trailers and store material in storage bins.
Maintain the shop or designated area in a clean and safe manner.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Due to the operating conditions of the position, this is a safety sensitive position, therefore you must pass drug test, including THC.
Qualifications
Ability to read and comprehend basic safety and operational instructions.
Basic math skills to be able to calculate bar measurements.

We are a Federal Contractor and do conduct random drug testing. (Hair Follicle)
Physical Demands
