StarCraft Enterprises, Inc. is seeking people interested in a Roving Maintenance Assistant position. This is a "Jack of All Trades" kind of job, great for people who want different challenges every few days. Our staff typically have work orders in advance, arrive at the start of day on the jobsite and start working. Most jobs last 1-5 days, though some staff complete minor work orders in an hour or two, several in a day. We strive to schedule 8-hour workdays but pay overtime when necessary with your supervisor's preapproval.
StarCraft has a comfortable work environment. We train on the job when necessary and are open to people new to the industry. Our focus is on quality, speed and efficiency. We work hard to provide the customer with quality work in a timely manner.
The primary qualities we seek are Honesty, Punctuality and Good Communication Skills.

Successful applicants must have:
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- A reliable personal vehicle
- Access to all hand tools and minor power tools (cordless drill, circular saw, screw drivers, hammers, etc)
(if you do not have tools, we can work with you to acquire what you need)
- Our staff sometimes enter occupied homes, so you must not have a criminal record that has no reports of theft or crimes against people.
The kind of work we do is varied and we will assign work to you based on what you know while working to train you in other skills. That list includes:
- Painting and turnover maintenance
- Maintenance and repairs of building systems
- Fences and decks, repair and replacement
- Careful demo and trash hauling
- Gutter cleaning and roof treatment (from ladders only)
- Any project that we can address to make a rental home ready for the next person or to complete the jobs our customers request.
We are seeking full time people but will consider part time as needed.
