Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofing Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of roofing systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. The Roofing Foreman will be responsible for overseeing roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate roofing crews on job sites
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Train and mentor roofing crew members
- Evaluate job site conditions and plan work accordingly
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise
- Maintain equipment and materials inventory
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the roofing industry
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- In-depth knowledge of various roofing systems and materials
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA certification (preferred)
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
