Goby Walnut and Western Hardwoods is seeking a full-time team member. This position is in charge of packaging orders to ship, as well as moving inventory in the warehouse to keep it neat and clean.
A day in the life looks like:
- Package lumber on 1-2 skids to ship by truck
- Move stacks of lumber in warehouse by forklift
- Sweep + pick up debris + clean while working
- Load skid onto truck by forklift to ship
We are a small Hardwood sawmill with dry kilns, and a wood shop. We sell dry lumber and slabs directly to the public out of our retail location, and ship across the globe to distributors, wood-workers etc.

Job Description:
Package / skid outgoing orders
Load and unload materials from trucks in forklift and by hand
Organize lumber and slabs in warehouse by forklift and by hand
Maintain a clean, organized, and in good working order environment
Help in shop, or in other areas of business on occasion
Requirements:
Experience with forklift
Experience with general construction tools – nail gun, drill, skill saw, chop saw
Able to read a tape measure
Able to lift 70 lbs repeatedly
Comfortable with physical working environment
Positive attitude, demonstrated dependability, willing to work as part of a team
Must have reliable transportation
Hours: M-F, 7 am-4pm

$20 - $22 / hr depending on experience
