Stablehand position available.
We are looking for a person who is comfortable handling horses. Someone who can do daily turn-out, feed hay, grain, and supplements, lift 110 lb bales of hay, drive a 4-wheeler and tractor, fix fencing, do additional horse-related tasks, and do day-to-day handiwork around the farm.
This is the perfect part-time job for someone looking to work in a quiet and peaceful environment on a secure and gated beautiful 12-acre farm on top of Parrett Mtn. in Sherwood, Oregon.
Workdays would be Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays, (Monday could be flexible). Depending on experience, this position could be a minimum of 5.5 hr day or 8 hr day which could include on-site living quarters.
Living quarters: A 23-foot trailer with air conditioning and heat, kitchen, living area, sleeping quarters, and bathroom could be available for the right person in exchange for partial labor.
