RideKleen, a subsidiary of Cox Automotive, is a mobile fleet cleaning company in the Philadelphia area, seeking to hire a motivated, experienced and reliable individual to join our San Francisco team. We are a fast paced, growing company with many levels of growth opportunities. The company currently operates in Atlanta, Boston, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, NYC, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego.

JOB SUMMARY:

This individual will be responsible for completing a wide range of mobile car care services. These services include mobile cleaning, fleet movement, electric vehicle charging and gasoline re-fueling. Additionally, the Team Leader will lead a team of 1 to 4 Detailers and/or Fleet Agents and be the main driver of the company vehicle.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fleet Management and Maintenance

• Mobile cleaning services: clean fleet vehicles; cleaning to include interior/exterior wash, interior vacuum, express/full details and other related services. Other related services may include spot removal, heavy stain removal, heavy pet hair removal, excessive interior debris removal, exterior staining removal, odor bomb treatment, ozone odor removal and bio-hazard removal.

• Fleet movement: drive and relocate fleet vehicles from their pre-determined start and end locations

• Electric vehicle charging: drive electric fleet vehicles from their "home" locations to designated charging station/facility for recharge and return vehicles back to their home locations

• Gasoline re-fueling: drive gasoline fleet vehicles from their "home" locations to designated fueling station for re-fueling and return vehicles back to their home locations

• Main driver of company vehicle

• Utilize various technology to receive and document large volume of work orders on 3rd party client apps, our proprietary software and/or Google Sheets

• Responsible for maintaining all inventory, equipment and supplies (i.e. car wash solution, technology assets, fuel card, etc.) required to successfully perform all essential job responsibilities contained herein

• Maintain and secure all access cards to clients' vehicles; sole person responsible for unlocking and locking vehicles at locations

• Perform all final inspections on vehicles cleaned to ensure the quality of work meets the company's standard.

• Restock company vehicle with appropriate inventory weekly; track product and detailing supply inventory in vehicle

• Re-fuel company vehicle weekly or when needed

• Clean the interior and exterior of the company vehicle weekly

• Assist Operations Supervisor to maintain a strong operational plan

• Gain a thorough understanding of all service offerings which includes but not limited to interior/exterior washes, fleet movement (rebalancing), re-fueling of gasoline vehicles and re-charging of electric vehicles

• Learn the client's SLAs to ensure your understanding of our performance metrics

• Responsible for ensuring your team is completing nightly/weekly reporting as per company protocol

• SOS; show, observe, shape

• Communicate with overnight Operations Coordinator and/or Operations Supervisor regarding any issues, including vehicle accidents, that may arise during the overnight hours

• Directly reports to their Operations Supervisor and/or Market Manager: nightly and weekly reporting/logs as per company protocol

Technology Roll Outs

• Participate in the company's technology initiatives

• Prepare and train field employees on new technology

• Ensure field employees adhere to company and client standards when utilizing the new technology (i.e. submitting the correct number of photos from appropriate angles)

• Provide feedback and recommendations to management team on technology performance/enhancements desired

Human Resource Management

• Supervise, mentor, train, coach, and develop new and existing operational field employees

• Provide continual feedback regarding employee performance to Operations Supervisor

Market Performance

• Actively monitor, review and analyze performance metrics to ensure your team is meeting or exceeding goals set forth by your Operations Supervisor and/or Market Manager. Some goals include: vehicle cleaned percentage, surcharge/other fee percentage, quality assurance field audits, employee retention figures and internal client service scores

• Train, motivate and coach Detailers and Fleet Agents to meet and exceed their monthly performance goals

• Assist Operations Supervisor with limiting unnecessary overtime in payroll costs

• Reduce or mitigate loss of assets by completely thorough inventory checks/audits of company vehicles and company leased storage unit(s)

Fleet Management and Maintenance

• Assist the Operations Supervisor in managing vehicle maintenance and repairs, including preventative maintenance, manufactures' recalls, breakdowns and accident damage

Other

• Wear RideKleen-issued uniforms at all times during shift; maintain a clean and wearable uniform

• Maintain a safe and secure working environment

• Remain and act in a professional way while performing mobile work during a shift

• Comply with company/market policies, procedures, rules and regulations and all applicable laws

• Other assignments, projects and duties may be required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education -

• Must possess a High School diploma or equivalency.

Experience -

• Car detailing experience in automotive or rental car industry preferred but not required.

• Supervisory experience preferred but not required.

• Prior experience of steam cleaning process preferred but not required.

Knowledge/skills/abilities -

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment

• Extremely detail & process oriented

• Comfortable working independently or in a team

• Strong sense of initiative, requiring little direct supervision

• Ability to maintain confidential and proprietary information

• Complete knowledge and understanding of company's principles, policies, procedures and standards

WORKING CONDITIONS/EQUIPMENT USED:

• Work environment involves moderate exposure to hazards and physical risks, which requires following basic safety requirements, including road rules and facility regulations

• Work is performed outside in all types of weather and temperatures

• Moderate physical activity which requires handling objects up to 20 pounds with long periods of standing and walking

• Moderate exposure to unusual elements such as temperature, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises, which may vary by location

• Use of an industrial-grade steamer

• Be proficient in use of technology and a computer

• Must have basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Comfortable with use of apps and tablets

• Shift may include daytime and nighttime hours, depending on the needs of the market/business

OTHER:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must possess a valid Driver's License

• Must be willing to complete a background check

• Must have valid driver's license with no more than one moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years

• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past three years

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
