Yard Manager – Heavy Civil Construction
If you are looking for local work with a reasonable and consistent schedule, competitive pay, and a two month seasonal slow period around spring each year, this may be a great fit. This is not a position that will have much, if any, overtime hours. 5x8, 40 hour week from approx June-March. April/May is typically the slow time.
Job Responsibilities:
Organize, inventory, and maintain a heavy civil equipment yard. Interface with maintenance shop. Previous mechanic experience would be a plus but not required, as you could support our maintenance team if yard is in order, possibly avoiding the spring slow period.
Someone with high organizational skills and a background in heavy civil construction or construction equipment would be ideal. Being able to keep an excel or google smartsheet updated, or willing to learn, is also ideal.

The work is in Vancouver, Washington with very limited travel (rarely may have to run something to crews on short notice, emergencies only)
