Kell, Alterman & Runstein, L.L.P. is seeking an attorney for a full time position for its Workers’ Compensation department. We are a mid-size law firm in downtown Portland with a Vancouver, Washington office, representing clients in a wide range of matters. We are seeking at least one full time associate to join our Workers’ Compensation defense group. The associate will support a docket of Oregon and Washington workers’ compensation cases. The associate will advise employers and administrators on general legal, coverage, and policy issues. The position requires strong academic and professional qualifications, excellent time management and organizational skills, and exemplary written and oral communication skills. The associate is expected to take pride in exceeding our clients’ needs and expectations. The ideal candidate will be motivated to grow and develop the practice. REQUIREMENTS
Oregon or Washington bar membership. Dual membership preferred
0-7 years of experience
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Exemplary written and oral communication skills
Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Adobe, and Excel
Ability to analyze and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
Attorneys have a billable hour goal and can receive performance bonuses. Additional discretionary bonuses are considered at the time of the annual review.
