Goby Walnut & Western Hardwoods is seeking a full-time marketing coordinator. The role would be responsible for helping to plan, produce, and execute marketing campaigns alongside our production / marketing team.
We are a small, boutique, hardwood sawmill with a showroom and wood shop. Our customers are high-end hand-made woodworkers, designers / architects, and hobby woodworkers. We sell slabs, one-of-a-kind pieces, and lumber, directly to the public from our showroom, and ship across the globe to distributors, woodworkers, artists etc. Most material ends up in restaurants, hotels, and high-end residential projects.
Essential Job Functions
- Help to brainstorm content for social channels, email campaigns, website / blog, events
- Help produce content and marketing assets (by phone mostly). Some editing work may be required
- Develop and execute social, email campaigns, in-store events
- Copy writing for email campaigns + blog posts
- Schedule + post content + analyze results and adjust
- Continually update and analyze Shopify website
- Drive growth on socials channels and sales via email
- Help with inside sales / retail space
- Interest in wood, interior design or sculpture
Requirements:
- Strong familiarity with social trends and pop culture
- Prior social / marketing experience
- Familiar with photography / photo editing
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with social platforms, email marketing software, shopify / websites
