Our print shop is looking to add a talented human being to our [remote] prepress team! We are looking for a local PDX person for the role, as our team sometimes has meet ups ☻
This position is a 4 day, 32 hour full-time position with benefits. The scheduled day off will be Thursday. Our business features flexible start times between 8a-9:30am.

- About the position-
This position primarily entails using Adobe Illustrator to prepare digital files for print. An intermediate level understanding of Illustrator is definitely needed, as well as an understanding of DPI and how RGB/CMYK color modes work. Bonus points if you use keyboard commands, as we ultimately require the use of them for speed! You will be taught how our process works and our business has many SOPs explaining procedures.
Communication with clients happen via email, so we are looking for someone with strong email and customer service skills.
We print on many different specialty materials, so we are looking for someone who has amazing attention to detail to make sure everything gets printed correctly so no waste occurs!
The prepress team is 5 people in size and we’re looking for someone friendly and who will vibe with the team! :) Team dynamics is very important to us!

✧ A windows computer [our custom Illustrator plugins only work with windows]
✧ Your computer must be able to process large graphics without lagging, typically a gaming computer is great for this
16 GB of RAM, minimum
✧ Fast internet [preference on hardlined]
✧ Dual monitors [for speed/efficiency]
