Manufacturing Associate: Commercial Displays
Our client is a commercial woodworking company that has been serving the greater Portland market since 1982. They specialize in custom commercial frame-less style display cabinets. Their client list includes local companies such as Nike, Columbia, Pinnacle, Adidas, etc.
SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for individuals to work in their Production department. Most work is lower volume, highly customized, client specific work. If you thrive in an environment where your skills and abilities are valued, then this is the position for you.
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 7am -3pm
Required overtime during the busy summer months; flexibility with schedule is preferred
PAY: up to $25/hr depending on experience
DUTIES:
Work with a variety of manual tools to complete the design of the client's cabinets and display cases.
Complete any number of projects which may change day-to-day and week-to-week according to deadlines
Manage time to work on limited long-term and unique production runs and projects
Finish a variety of components and tasks with daily changing needs.
Stay on task in a fast-paced production environment.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
1 year general woodworking and construction knowledge.
Ability to use general hand and power tools; hammers, saws, sanders, etc.
Focus on task and complete assignments with minimal supervision
