Position Overview: As a CNC Machinist at Premier Metal Finishing, LLC, you will play a crucial role in helping support daily machining production and throughput goals. We are looking for someone with a great attitude who enjoys working with people and likes to be constantly challenged.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC mills and have a good understanding of Fanuc controls.
Knowledge of G and M code and ability to make offsets and adjustments as needed.
Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc. to ensure quality and dimensional tolerances are met.
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and understand GD&T.
Perform daily and weekly PM’s on CNC equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in CNC machining predominately in a milling capacity.
Ability to learn quickly and problem solve with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills and the ability to follow through.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment.
