CNC Machinist Setup/Operator
North Plains / Hillsboro machine shop seeking CNC machinist for setup and operation of lathes and/or mills. We are looking to fill a position that is available on our Weekend Day Shift. The hours are as follows:
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 5:00am to 5:30pm.
A premium shift differential is in addition to your base wage. If desired, there are weekly opportunities to work overtime. Position to start immediately.
Background:
- Experience setting up and operating vertical machining centers is required.
- Experience setting up and operating horizontal machining centers is required.
- Experience with pallet pool cell machining is preferred.
- Experience with multi-spindle lathes is preferred.
- Perform inspections on close tolerance parts.
- Able to multi-task and still keep a focus on the priorities.
- Detail-oriented and a good communicator (verbally and written).
- Must be self-sufficient and able to quickly solve any issues that may arise.
