Position Summary
We are seeking a CNC Set-up Specialist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery to produce high-precision components. The ideal candidate has experience with CNC mills (preferably HAAS). Can read blueprints and understands basic G-code commands. Work together with our design and programming team to help produce complex tooling for orthopedics and turbine engines.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines mills
Read and interpret blueprints, and work orders
Monitor machine operations
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
Follow all safety and quality protocols
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience operating CNC machines preferred
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Experience with measuring tools and quality control checks
Basic understanding of G-code
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Must be reliable, positive attitude and meticulous and organized
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to follow procedures and adapt to new processes.
