Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team full-time as a Torque Converter Assembler. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. A strong team player mindset is essential, with a willingness to contribute wherever needed. This role involves a range of duties focused on torque converter assembly and related machining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly and disassembly of torque converters according to specifications.
Operation of manual mills and lathes to machine components as required.
Perform precision hand work on machined components to ensure quality.
Conduct detailed inspections on machined components for accuracy and quality assurance.
Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a solid work ethic in all tasks.
Utilize excellent mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and decimals.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality output.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. as part of daily responsibilities.
Preferred 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
