Job Title: Sales and Customer Service Representative (3D Printing)

Location: Beaverton, Oregon (off of 217 and Hall Blvd.)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Sales and Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team at our Beaverton location. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, managing relationships, responding to inquiries, and providing accurate quotes. You will also assist with production-related tasks, ensuring our 3D printing operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend customer-facing responsibilities with hands-on experience in the 3D printing industry.

Experience with Prusa or Voron machines is a bonus, and we are eager to leverage your knowledge to enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Relations: Manage and nurture customer relationships by responding promptly to inquiries via email, phone, and other communication channels. Ensure a positive and engaging experience for all clients.

Quoting and Invoicing: Provide accurate quotes to clients using our quoting software, ensuring transparency and clarity. Prepare and send invoices, and follow up on payments as needed.

Order Fulfillment: Review, sort, and manage customer orders. Coordinate with production to ensure timely fulfillment, adhering to our First-In, First-Out (FIFO) strategy.

Production Support: Oversee daily operations of our 3D print farm as needed, including changing filaments, initiating print tasks, and managing print queues.

Post-Processing and Quality Control: Assist in post-processing tasks such as removing support materials, trimming edges, and using a heat-gun to ensure the highest quality of manufactured parts. Perform quality checks on outgoing parts, documenting and reporting any discrepancies.

Shipping Coordination: Calculate shipping costs, generate labels, and coordinate with shipping providers to ensure timely delivery of orders.

Customer Communication: Proactively communicate with customers to update them on their order status, address any concerns, and provide solutions.

Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, order status, and inventory levels in our system.

Working Hours:

This role offers flexible hours, typically between 8-24 hours per week, with the potential for more based on demand. Please note that the work hours are not guaranteed and may fluctuate depending on the company's needs.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in customer service or sales is preferred.

Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software, tools, and technologies.

Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Problem-Solving: Ability to handle customer inquiries and issues effectively and efficiently.

Probationary Period:

This position includes a probationary period of three months, allowing both you and our company to assess the fit. During this period, you'll have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with our working environment and responsibilities, while we observe your skills, efficiency, and integration with our team. Based on mutual satisfaction, you will be officially confirmed in your role after the probationary period.
