All Star labor and Staffing is looking for an EXPEREINCED Commercial Baler Operator for a Metal Recycling Company in the Tualatin area.
In this role you are responsible for operating a two-ram Baler that compress recyclable materials—like aluminum/ metals into compact, manageable bales for storage, transport, or resale AND move product or materials in and out of the warehouse-using forklift.
Core Responsibilities, but not limited to:
-Set up, operate, and monitor commercial-grade balers (vertical or horizontal).
-Adjust machine settings based on the type of material being baled.
-Feed materials (Aluminums/ metals, brass, etc.) into the baler either manually or using conveyors or forklifts.
-Tie, wrap, or bind bales using wire or strapping tools once baling is complete.
-Label bales with date, material type, and weight for tracking
-Perform basic maintenance: cleaning the machine, checking for jams, inspecting hydraulic system
-Report malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors or maintenance teams.
Skills and attributes:
-Ability to operate a forklift.
-Knowledge of safe equipment operation including but not limited to front end loader, forklift, shear, wire stripper, two-ram baler and tote tipper.
-Ability to communicate information effectively.
-Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
-Working in an outdoor/warehouse environment; some repetitive mechanical work.
-Frequent lifting, frequent computer dexterity; pushing, pulling, walking, climbing stairs, standing, kneeling, twisting, vision, hearing, talking.
-Must be able to lift up to 49lbs unassisted.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
Pay: $19hr
