Job Title: Mechanical Drafter
Location: Tualatin, OR
Schedule: M-F 8-5PM
Pay: $28-38.50/hr. DOE

Local manufacturing company is looking to add an upbeat Mechanical Drafter to their team! This company was founded in 1985 and is dedicated to producing high quality, competitively priced power transmission products.
What You’ll Do:
As a Mechanical Drafter, you will collaborate with Engineering and Logistics teams to develop and validate drawings and specifications for both new and existing products.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting the QA manager in overseeing basic daily CAD department operations.
Standardizing internal technical drawings and schematics.
Maintaining CAD systems, technical drawings, and information.
Inspecting incoming samples for compliance with technical drawings.
Performing measurements using digital calipers, micrometers, etc.
Reverse engineering and creating 3D models from physical samples.
Supporting various departments with technical specifications and drawings.
Pursuing and maintaining technical competence in company product lines.
Validating existing technical drawings and specifications.
Understanding and adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Demonstrating consistent attendance, strong work ethic, and self-motivation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What You Need to Have:
The Musts:
High proficiency in Fusion 360, Autodesk, Inventor and CAD.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred:
Experience with Asana.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Document management
